Ecolab Pest Elimination is happy to announce that Staci Jo Johnston, BCE has been elected to the National Pest Management Association’s Board of Directors.  The 26-member board of knowledgeable industry professionals are the policy-making body of NPMA and help guide the NPMA in their effort to positively impact the businesses and livelihoods of those in the pest management community.  As a newly elected At-Large Member, Staci will begin her term of office on July 1, 2020.

Staci started her Entomology journey as an undergraduate and has been actively engaged in the industry for over 18 years.  Upon completion of her undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies, Staci started her 13+ year career at Ecolab Pest Elimination holding various titles.  Throughout her career she has won numerous Ecolab awards, holds 5 patents in the industry and received the 2012 National Restaurant Association’s Innovation of the Year Award for the Stealth Fly Station. 

In 2017, she completed her master’s degree in Applied Science with an Emphasis in Natural Resource Science and Leadership from the University of Nebraska.  In that same year, she was voted on to the Minnesota Pest Management Associations Board of Directors, where she was later elected President in 2019.  

Staci has been a Board-Certified Entomologist since 2009 in both areas of Urban/Industrial Entomology and Vet/Medical Entomology.  She is currently Ecolab’s Regulatory Affairs Manager, working with both state and federal regulators, vendors, and manufactures to ensure that the industry has the tools to protect human health, the food supply, and property.
