 Ecolab has long been committed to giving something back to the communities where our associates live and work. At the heart of our efforts is Ecolab's unique corporate culture, comprised of spirit, pride, determination, commitment, passion and integrity.
 Through the Ecolab Foundation, we annually contribute 1.2 percent of our U.S. pretax earnings to domestic charitable organizations. We provide in-kind product donations in cases of natural disaster such as floods or hurricanes.
 About two-thirds of our donations are earmarked for organizations in the St. Paul, Minn., metropolitan area, where Ecolab's world headquarters are located. The other one-third is given to organizations in U.S. communities that are home to Ecolab divisional or manufacturing facilities, including:

To qualify for a grant from the Ecolab Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization must deliver services in one of the communities listed above and must fall within one of our priority areas.
