This Hygiene monitoring is executed by using specific swabs
for specific applications which after swabbing have to be inserted into
the LUM-T sample chamber to read the results. Below, the LUM-T instrument
and types of swabs are described.

FireFly 2 Monitoring Instrument

Hygiene Swabs
The Hygiene Swabs are part of the Clean Check™ Program, which provides a total sanitation solution for your food processing operation.
PocketSwab Plus
is the usual swab used for surface hygiene monitoring. It detects ATP associated with micro-organisms and food/organic product residues present on surfaces.
PocketSwab Plus is used in conjunction with the novaLUM and FireFly system.
WaterGiene
Is the main use swab for rinse water hygiene monitoring.It is a rapid sanitation/hygiene test to detect the presence of ATP as a marker for biological contaminants in water and on wet surfaces.
WaterGiene is used in conjunction with the novaLUM and FireFly system.
AllerGiene
Is a new product with ultra-sensitive ATP detection.
It offers a control to help prevent cross contamination from food residues by testing the sanitation effectiveness of food contact surfaces and final rinse water with a highly sensitive ATP test.
