Rising energy and water costs are pushing down the profitability of laundries troughout Europe. In average the costs have increased from app. 8% to 12 % of total processing expenses in the past few years. The trend continues unabated.
That´s why saving washing and finishing energy in the professional laundries, has become a hot topic The energy use of most laundries offers the potential for significant savings in the overall processing costs. Energy Optimiser has been developed especially for the laundry industry. It captures the energy which would normally be send to the drain. The hot effluent from the continous batch washer flows through the Energy Optimiser and transfers thermal energy to the cold fresh water used for rinsing.
The cost benefit analysis of this innovative equipment can be quickly calculated: Energy savings of up to 50% can be achieved on continous batch washers. An additional 20% can be saved in finishing the textiles. With these significant savings the payback time of the equipment lays mostly in between 12-18 months.
