Every instrument used during surgical treatment must be fundamentally
considered contaminated. This poses a particularly high risk of infection
for other patients and above all for the hospital personnel.

Area of use
For disinfection of instruments made of metal, glass etc. Particularly appropriate
for heat-labile material which is disinfected but not sterilised, e.g. anaesthetic
equipment, flexible endoscopes.
- Unused solution: holding time 14
days
- Used solution: According to the
guidelines of the German Federal Health Bureau, the solution is to be
freshly prepared daily.
Recommended use
Place instruments in Sekusept® PLUS immediately following use.
Be sure to submerge entirely. Remove objects from the solution following
listed time of duration and rinse with water of at least drinking-water
quality (better with distilled water or demineralized water). Material changes
in polycarbonate, polysulfone and acrylic glass following extended use cannot
be ruled out, may however be avoided to a large degree by sufficient rinsing
following each use.
Note: Not suitable for silicone materials.
