For processing of endoscopes and instruments
Manual reprocessing
Place instruments in Sekusept aktiv immediately after use. Ensure all instruments
are entirely submerged, no cavities or bubbles must be present.
Remove objects from the solution following listed time of duration and application
concentration.
Rinse with water of drinking quality or ideally distilled or demineralized
water.
Ultrasonic bath reprocessing
Sekusept aktiv is suitable for all stainless steel ultrasonic baths. Supersonic
sounding is not to be exceeded in accordance to data from instrument manufacturers.
For effective disinfection according to the German Association for Hygiene
and Microbiology (DGHM), declared residence time (e.g. 15 min) has to be
kept.
Sekusept aktiv is particularly well suited for pre-cleaning/disinfection
of flexible endoscopes before chemothermal reprocessing. There is no material
incompatability between Sekusept aktiv and machinery products. |
