Bryan Hughes is senior vice president and corporate controller for Ecolab Inc., the global leader in water, hygiene and energy technologies and services that protect people and vital resources.
As corporate controller, Hughes has global responsibility for Ecolab’s Finance, Planning and Analysis, Accounting and Internal Audit functions. Previously, he was vice president of Finance for the company’s Global Institutional business. Hughes joined Ecolab in 1996 and has held several management positions in Finance, including Director, Planning and Management Reporting; controller, Textile Care; vice president, Internal Audit; vice president, Management Reporting and Analysis; and vice president, Finance for Institutional North America.
Hughes began his career as a certified public accountant with Ernst & Young.
Hughes serves on the board of directors of the Boys and Girls Club of the Twin Cities and on the leadership board of his church.
Hughes received a bachelor’s degree in Business and Accounting from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn., and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
