Stewart McCutcheon is executive vice president and chief information officer for Ecolab Inc., the global leader in water, hygiene and energy technologies and services that protect people and vital resources.
Previously, McCutcheon was senior vice president and chief information officer. Prior to joining Ecolab in 2011 through a merger with Nalco Holding Company, McCutcheon was Nalco’s chief information officer since joining the company in 2009. He was also named Nalco’s chief productivity officer in 2010 and was responsible for improving productivity in areas such as Supply Chain, Procurement and Administrative functions.
McCutcheon also served as chief executive officer and chief operating officer for Ascis, a leading supply chain software provider and SAP partner. He also served as chief operating officer and chief technology officer for Elemica, a business-to-business e-commerce solution provider to the chemical industry. Prior to Elemica, he served in a variety of global business, manufacturing, supply chain, engineering and information technology management roles for DuPont.
McCutcheon graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Carolina.
