Oriana Leishman, MPH, PhD

Dr. Oriana Leishman is the Food and Beverage Program Leader for Food, Protein and Personal Care. She and her team are responsible for researching and developing new products and programs to improve food safety, operational efficiency, and sustainability for the food, protein, and personal care production markets. In addition, Dr. Leishman is responsible for leading food safety initiatives across the Food and Beverage division.

Oriana Leishman, MPH, PhD

Dr. Oriana Leishman is the Food and Beverage Program Leader for Food, Protein and Personal Care. She and her team are responsible for researching and developing new products and programs to improve food safety, operational efficiency, and sustainability for the food, protein, and personal care production markets. In addition, Dr. Leishman is responsible for leading food safety initiatives across the Food and Beverage division. 

Prior to joining Ecolab, Dr. Leishman worked for Target Corporation’s Food Safety and Quality Assurance group, and local government Public Health services.

She is a member of the International Association for Food Protection (IAFP) and Minnesota Food Protection Association (MFPA).

Dr. Leishman graduated with a master’s degree in Public Health and a doctoral degree in Food Science from the University of Minnesota, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Medical Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Wisconsin.
