ST. PAUL, Minn. – (August 18, 2014) – Ecolab introduces Performance™ UltraBoost, an alkaline silicate-based water conditioner designed to remove the grimiest, toughest soils facing today’s industrial laundry operations. Free of nonylphenol ethoxylates (NPEs) and ethylenediaminetetraacetic acids (EDTAs), Performance UltraBoost provides superior cleaning results while minimizing environmental impact.
Performance UltraBoost’s soil-suspending properties work in tandem with surfactants to maximize performance. Chelating agents enhance water quality during the wash process, allowing the detergent and alkali to remove soils more effectively and efficiently.
“We’re committed to delivering top-performing, sustainable industrial laundry solutions,” said Mike Johannsen, Ecolab senior vice president and general manager, Global Textile Care. “UltraBoost produces high-quality results with its optimal concentration of solvent-free ingredients to enhance detergency. Ecolab’s Performance Industrial Program is now tougher than ever on petroleum-based industrial soils.”
In addition to new Performance UltraBoost, the Performance Industrial program includes Performance Detergent, Performance Booster and Performance Alkali for effective removal of tough industrial soils. The comprehensive program’s distinctive blend of surfactants, conditioner and soil suspension agents delivers superior removal of petroleum, oil and grease, and an exceptional level of whiteness.
In addition to its enhanced cleaning performance and more sustainable formulations, the Performance Industrial program delivers operational savings for industrial laundries through first-pass cleaning and easier rinsing; helping to shorten wash cycles and reduce rinse steps while lowering water and energy use.
