Robust Validation Program

For the past five years, Nalco Champion scientists and engineers have worked to develop and optimize this technology. Internal and third-party laboratory and pilot testing results verify improvement over conventional HPAM. Successful Field Trial

The onshore field trial was a joint effort among Nalco Champion, BP and OMV and was completed with no recordable safety incidents.

All KPI goals of the field trial were met or exceeded:

  • 100% shear resistance of the polymer in un-triggered form
  • Un-triggered polymer has water-like viscosity and high injectivity
  • Triggered polymer is indistinguishable from a conventional HPAM
  • Fully customizable, including invertability and triggering kinetics
