U.S. Regional Grants

For U.S. Regional Communities, a qualifying non-profit must provide services in the geographical area of an Ecolab regional facility as well as fall within one of our four strategic areas of giving. See more below.

Please note that with Ecolab’s spinoff of ChampionX as a separate and independent public company in the first half of next year, 2020 applications for community grants from these geographic areas should be directed to ChampionX:

ChampionX shares Ecolab’s commitment to community and intends to establish a community relations program in the second half of next year.

Further information will be forthcoming from ChampionX later in 2020.

NPO (Non-Profit Organizations) Grants: 

To qualify for an Ecolab NPO grant, a 501 (c) 3 organization (per the IRS Pub 78) must provide services in one of the regional geographies listed above and fall within one of our four strategic areas of giving: 

  • Youth & Education:  programs to promote youth development, particularly youth at-risk
  • Civic & Community Development:  affordable housing, work readiness, crisis assistance and hunger relief
  • Environment & Conservation:  hands-on environmental learning programs
  • Arts & Culture:  arts education for children and youth, as well as support for museums and the performing arts

Application Process:

  • The application process is now closed and will reopen for the geographic locations listed above in mid May 2020.
  • For NPOs who applied for 2019 funding, please note the Ecolab Applicant Site is being upgraded and therefore not available at this time.
