For U.S. Regional Communities, a qualifying non-profit must provide services in the geographical area of an Ecolab regional facility as well as fall within one of our four strategic areas of giving. See more below.

NPO (Non-Profit Organizations) Grants: 

To qualify for an Ecolab NPO grant, a 501 (c) 3 organization (per the IRS Pub 78) must provide services in one of the regional geographies listed above and fall within one of our four strategic areas of giving. Please review guidelines and restrictions on the Apply for Grant page.

  • Youth & Education:  programs to promote youth development, particularly youth at-risk
  • Civic & Community Development:  affordable housing, work readiness, crisis assistance and hunger relief
  • Environment & Conservation:  hands-on environmental learning programs
  • Arts & Culture:  arts education for children and youth, as well as support for museums and the performing arts

Application Process:

  • The application process for 2020 is now CLOSED
  • Decisions will be emailed to applicants between the end of October and December
  • Access the Applicant Site to view submitted applications and track status (GrantsConnect, powered by our vendor partner YourCause-Blackbaud)
    • For best results, use Google Chrome and a desktop or laptop computer

  • Applications for 2021 funding will open in spring 2021 (~mid-May)
