Michael Obradovitch, vice president of Data Center Global Accounts at Ecolab, explains that these approaches are already being put into practice across the industry.
Beyond reducing demand for drinking water, Obradovitch says data centers can help communities expand the infrastructure needed to make water reuse possible. By investing alongside municipalities in treatment and reuse systems, he says, “data centers can actually come in and be anchors of water infrastructure.”
