Meet the experts

Tatiana Lorca, phd

Dr. Tatiana A. Lorca is the RD&E Food Safety & Quality Program Leader for the Global Food & Beverage division of Ecolab. Dr. Lorca graduated with a master’s and doctoral degree in Food Science and Technology from Virginia Tech. She is a registered SQF Consultant and Trainer, HACCP, and Preventive Controls for Human Foods trainer. In addition she holds Food Safety HACCP Manager certification from the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals and Prometric. She is in charge of developing audit, training, consulting services and scientific support for across the food supply chain and works with multiple internal divisions to assure internal staff compliance to international food safety certification programs. 

Neil Bogart

Neil Bogart is Food & Beverage - Executive Area Technical Support Coordinator at Ecolab (SEALS). Previously he worked at Red Diamond – Coffee & Tea as Assistant Vice President of Quality, Regulator, and R&D; Randolph Associates as a Food Safety Consultant, specializing in food safety program development, and sanitation systems; Kroger Manufacturing – Dairy; Ecolab – Kay Chemical; and he is also a Chef. He is the 2016 Past President of the Alabama Association for Food Protection (AAFP); the 2016 - 2017 International Association for Food Protection (IAFP) Executive Board Affiliate Council Chairperson; and AAFPs affiliate delegate to IAFP. He holds a Food Science degree from Mississippi State University and his Le Cordon Bleu from Monroe County Community College. 

Rick Stokes

Rick Stokes is the Area Technical Support Manager in the Food and Beverage division of Ecolab. He graduated with B.S. in Microbiology from the Ohio State University and a MBA from Regis University. He has spent over 20 years in the food and beverage industry working in areas of Quality, Sanitation, Thermal Process, Sanitary Design and Food Safety in Laboratory, Plant and Corporate positions for Nestle, Campbell’s Soup, Leprino and Kraft. He joined Ecolab to lead the SEALS technical support group focused on troubleshooting some of our customer’s biggest challenges in sanitation effectiveness.

Deb Klein

Deb Klein is Principal Regulatory Specialist for Commercial Products at Ecolab. Deb Klein holds a BS from Virginia Tech and has an extensive food processing and regulatory compliance career having worked in private industry in quality management, operations, sales, tech support, and for the federal government as a USDA FSIS Staff technologist. She has responsibility for NA FDA compliance, new submissions, FSMA and Ecolab FSVP program and providing customer regulatory guidance. Deb resides with her husband in Charlotte NC.
