June is National Safety Month

  •    Pick up food and slip hazards. Keep floors dry.
  •    Fix trip hazards, inside and out. Visibly mark until they are safe. 
  •    Keep knives sharp. Store knives with the blade facing away.  Wear cutting cloves when cleaning sharp equipment or using a knife. Never leave sharp knife  unattended. (including at the dish area!)
  •    Do not use knives to open bags. Take advantage of the notch openings or use a safety tool. Likewise, do not use a knife to open boxes. Use the tool safely - moving it away from your body.
