On April 13, Dr. Larry Berger, Ecolab executive vice president and chief technical officer, was recognized as a 2017 Titan of Technology by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. The Titans of Technology award program recognizes individuals who are transforming Minnesota's tech industry and providing companies with a competitive technological edge.
Dr. Berger was recognized in the Technology Inventor category for his passion and commitment to developing industry-leading technologies and programs for Ecolab customers.
Under Berger’s leadership as chief technical officer, Ecolab’s 1,600 scientists, engineers and technical specialists operating in 19 technology centers around the world develop innovative solutions for customers to improve operational efficiency, product quality and safety while reducing water and energy use and waste. Ecolab has a long history of delivering a strong innovation pipeline to help solve the operational challenges customers may face. The company forecasts the 2016 innovation pipeline to deliver more than $1 billion in total revenue in five years.
