Chris Leong is executive vice president and chief marketing & innovation officer for Ecolab Inc. 

Chris Leong is executive vice president and chief marketing & innovation officer at Ecolab, the global leader in water, hygiene and infection prevention solutions and services that protect people and the resources vital to life.

She joined Ecolab in June 2025 and leads a global marketing, sustainability and innovation team that excels in understanding and delivering customer needs. Chris has extensive experience in transformational leadership and driving growth impact across continents and disciplines, including organizational and digital transformation, sustainable business strategies, and sales and marketing across B2C and B2B industries.

Prior to joining Ecolab, she served as chief marketing officer at Schneider Electric for more than a decade and subsequently held the role of Chief Sustainability Officer during her tenure there. Previously, Chris worked at Nokia where she led their greater China, Korea & Japan region and was senior vice president of global marketing responsible for Nokia’s go-to-market, brand and marketing initiatives across 80 markets. Prior to joining Nokia, Chris held a number of senior management roles in marketing communications firms including WPP agencies, Bates Asia, Ogilvy Europe and Grey Global Group, working with global brand leaders including P&G, Ford, HSBC, Heineken and several telecommunications brands.

Since 2022, Chris has been a member of Nestlé's Board of Directors and the sustainability committee, bringing expertise in brand, marketing, digital, sustainability and emerging economies. In this role, she continues to contribute to the impact Nestlé delivers to the lives of its employees, consumers, shareholders and communities alike.

In her free time, she believes in giving back and dedicating time to charitable work, particularly supporting underserved communities and underprivileged children.
