For the sixth consecutive year, Ecolab Inc., the global leader in water, food safety and public health technologies and services, has been recognized as one of the World’s Most Admired Companies by Fortune magazine. 

Fortune’s recognition measures companies based on nine criteria of corporate reputation, from investment value and quality of management and products, to social responsibility and ability to attract talent. Within the chemicals industry, Ecolab ranked second overall.  

Fortune’s World’s Most Admired Companies list is based on responses from thousands of survey participants, including executives, directors and analysts, who rate companies in their industry on nine criteria. The survey included a total of 680 companies from 30 countries.
