Ecolab Again Named to Newsweek's List of Most Responsible Companies

Ranks #18 on the 2022 list

ST. PAUL, Minn. – Dec. 9, 2021 – Ecolab Inc., the global leader in water, hygiene and infection prevention solutions and services that protect people and vital resources, has again been named to Newsweek’s list of America’s Most Responsible Companies, ranking #18 overall on the 2022 list and second in the materials industry. This is Ecolab’s third consecutive year on Newsweek’s America’s Most Responsible Companies list, which began in 2020.

Newsweek’s list recognizes the top 500 public companies in 14 industry categories for their environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance.  

Companies that made the list of America’s Most Responsible Companies were selected from a pool of 2,000 of the largest public companies by revenue and were analyzed based on publicly available environmental, social and corporate governance data and a survey of 11,000 U.S. citizens and their perceptions of the companies related to their corporate social responsibility.
