Gail Peterson is senior vice president of Global Marketing & Communications for Ecolab Inc., the global leader in water, food safety and public health technologies and services. In this role, Peterson leads global marketing and oversees the company’s Global Brand, Global Communications, Market Research, Sustainability and Water Partnerships teams.
Previously, Peterson as vice president of Marketing for Ecolab’s Global Healthcare business, where she was responsible for developing and executing market-expanding global strategies and led digital solutions development, marketing communications strategies and execution, corporate account selling support, and clinical evidence planning.
Prior to joining Ecolab in 2016, Peterson was with General Mills, Inc. for 15 years, where she held a number of roles of increasing importance and helped expand a number of businesses, brands and strategic initiatives.
Peterson is a member of Ecolab’s Diversity and Inclusion Council, a founding member of the Black Leaders Forum and serves on the board of directors of the Minnesota Children’s Museum.
Peterson earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Princeton University.
